Social Stamping September blog host – Baby

Hi fellow crafters and welcome to September’s Social Stamping blog host organised by the very talented Kelly Kent. If you have arrived here from Sandra’s blog post I am sure that will have loved Sandra’s design.

The theme for this month is Baby, I love that I am able to create a card to celebrate the miracle of the birth of a new tiny human. I CASE,d my card from a similar design by Carol Payne at http://www.carolpaynestamps.typepad.com and adapted it for a grandparent to welcome a new grandson into the world.

Most little boys that I know love trains, boats and planes so for this card I created a Z fold card using the train and helicopter from the Moving Along stamp set, this set is great for creating children’s cards. The colours used are Pacific Point, Real Red and Whisper White and scraps from the In Good Taste DSP for two of the train carriages. I have my train running on the tracks and the helicopter hovering overhead with a banner announcing that “It’s a Boy”.

This was a fun card to make and I hope you that you like it.

As I am last on the list if you click on the Next button below it will take you to the start of the blog host and the amazingly talented Kelly Kent, I know that you will be in for a treat when you see Kelly’s creation.
