Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop – “S”

Paper Adventures Header

Seattle city from Kerry Park

Hello and welcome to my blog which tonight comes from the other side of the world in Seattle. Normally when I am on holiday I don’t take part in the team blog hop but this is one that I couldn’t resist. I am in Seattle in September getting ready to board a cruise Ship on Saturday to Set Sail on the Sea, have you worked out the theme yet, yes it is the letter S.

Snoquamie Falls

As I will be sailing away into the sunset both of my cards are based on the Sea. My first card is made from the Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack, this pack is ideal for beginner stampers as you don’t have to do any stamping to make a beautiful card.

My second card is intended to show what Australians love doing best, relaxing on the beach on a sunny summers day.  Once again I used the Come Sail Away Memories and more pack along with A Good Man stamp set, this set can be used for so many different occasions. I have used my blends for the sand, sea and sky.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this month’s theme, I know I certainly had fun making them. Please follow the link below which will take you to our next talented designer – Lisa Whitehead.

  1. It’s like the theme was written for you! Great cards and so great you got it organised so you could hop with us even from the other side of the world! Hope the high seas are kind to you! Kelly x

  2. How perfectly themed for your adventures this month! Two gorgeous cards. I love the use of the M&M cards on the first and your very artsy colouring on the second. So great that you could still hop with us even while living the high life on the high seas!! 🙂 Siobhan.

  3. Love the memories and more set from the Sail Away Suite. Combining with the Good Man stamp set is a great idea-this scene sounds like one you are living at the moment 🙂 Enjoy and have a wonderful holiday.

  4. Oooh, how exciting to be hopping from Seattle! I hope you’re having a wonderful time. Speaking of wonderful, your cards are fabulous! The laser cut ships’s wheels are an awesome background, and I love the scene you’ve created on your second card.
