Social Stamping blog host Rainbows

Happy Easter everybody and thank you for stopping by my blog post for the third Social Stamping Blog Host.

The theme for this blog host is Rainbows. I decided on tulips for my project as growing up in the UK tulips always started to make an appearance at Easter as Easter in the UK is during Springtime.

When I started to think about my project I had a picture of lots of flowers so what better way to bring this to life than a box of flowers. The size of the box that I made was 3 1/2” x 3 1/2” x 3” using the Garden Lane DSP. The 3D tulips were made by stamping three of 15 different coloured tulips from the Timeless Tulips stamp set, decorated with stamped and punched leaves and attached into a piece of oasis with florist wire, the oasis went inside the box. I finished the box off with a piece of braided burlap ribbon and a sentiment from the retired You’re Inspiring.

To complement the box I made a 4 1/8” square wreath card, the template for the wreath was gifted to me by my gorgeous friend Lou Kitzelman from, thank you Lou.

Thanks for stopping by, next on the blog host is Peta Stevens, why not pop over and see what Peta has created. Click on Next and it will take you straight to Peta’s post.

Happy Easter and keep smiling

  1. Love your box of colourful tulips. A brilliant idea. Also love the matching wreath card. I had been thinking of creating a floral wreath card as well – while I made a start, I ran out of time to complete it – yours is lovely. The tulips work really well to for the wreath.

  2. Oh I didn’t realise they were 3D at first, but then I saw the magic. Totally lovely creation Sheila. Happy Easter to you and your family.
