Kelly’s Stamping Friends – Birthday Blog Hop

Paper Adventures Header

I am so excited to be taking part in Kelly’s Stamping Friends Birthday Blog for the first time. If you have arrived here from Julia Quinn I know that you would have seen an amazing project.

A testimony to Kelly’s talent and creativity is to see how many demonstrators immediately put their hands up to be involved as soon as the blog hop is announced.  I feel very privileged to be a part of this amazing group.

I have had my design planned for quite a while, it is based on a tutorial by Jackie Bultje, also known as The Pampered Stamper. I almost had to completely change my plan as Mr. Australia Post wasn’t playing nice and I was thinking that my new goodies wouldn’t arrive in time.  Fortunately the BBB arrived yesterday afternoon and I was able to finish my design.

I really like the style of this Double Point fold card, and there is room for three lots of sentiments, one of which is hidden.  I used the Everything is Rosy stamp set and dies, and the Stitched Nesting labels from my pre-order, I think both of the items are going to get a huge workout in my craft room.

A big Happy Birthday Kelly and I hope you enjoy your special day … week…month.  Is this your birthday card, well you will just have to wait and see.

Next on the blog hop is Leonie Schroder, you will be blown away by Leonie’s work.

Happy Crafting

Sheila

  3. At least you don’t have to post Kelly’s card to her! Great card Sheila, I have not seen this fold before. Lovely colours you have chosen to. I love how the card front hides the hidden message. A card of surprises! Thanks for sharing. Mandy x

  4. Such an elegant and fun fold, Sheila! The stitched frames are so eye catching here and the pretty flowers make for a lovely centrepiece too.
